Peter Meerwarth, aka Mr. Pete, oversees the following musical and educational programs:
Mr. Pete is the full-time owner and founder Mill Pond Music Academy since 2012. Prior to overseeing Mill Pond's 200+ lessons per week, Mr. Pete was a Public School Music teacher, a private school music teacher, and a mega-church Worship Arts Coordinator. Peter accomplished his vocal performance MFA work at SUNY Purchase with some piano classes thrown in for good measure. He has 10 years public school teaching experience as a certified teacher at his alma mater in New York State where he was able to complete his coursework on a second Masters Degree at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in Educational Administration.
Peter has traveled throughout the Europe performing with choirs and orchestras and has appeared under the direction of Zubin Mehta as a part of the Statue of Liberty 200th Celebration Lincoln Center concerts. Peter has more recently appeared with the Princeton Opera Company. Peter loves music and the arts and hopes you find room in your life for some artistic expression.

"Mr, Pete is a teacher you will never forget. The smile on his face and the catchy tunes he sings all day makes everyone feel so joyful inside! I have been doing voice lessons with Mr. Pete for over 7 years and from the start you can see he knew what he was doing! We worked on such things as harmonies, scales, using your vibrato and keeping a straight tone, warm ups, awesome songs and much more!!! I also got to show off my talent of the things I worked on with him in his recitals. And that is when you get the recognition! By your mom, dad, grandparents aunts, uncles, guardians, the community, and finally... Mr. Pete! Working with Mr. Pete had led me to some many other things like getting accepted to Rockit Academy and New Jersey 101.5's Big Joe Henry Talent Show! I have recently started piano lessons with Mr. Pete and you will love it because he makes it fun and easy! I am so happy to have an instructor like Mr. Pete because he gives his time and dedication to all his students to make them achieve. So...what are you waiting for?
