Mr. Richard SchneiderPiano~Voice~Trumpet~Trombone~DrumsPianist, Vocalist, High School Music Teacher , One Man Band, private teacher of piano, brass, percussion, and vocal, with emphasis on jazz and pop as well as classical. Mr. Schneider has a BS in Music Education from Lebanon Valley College and is trained to teach all music courses K-12 in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Rich Schneider has been the Vocal Music teacher at Steinert High School for 22 years where he just retired. In 1975, Mr. Schneider began his professional music career as keyboardist for a tour with “Herb Reed and Platters”. After the tour he joined touring show groups and remained on the road for three more years. He spent three years in Los Angeles as a writer and account executive for Mark Wilson Productions, where he composed and recorded Music for Burger King Corporation and supervised music for HBO and television appearances by Mr. Wilson. Since then Mr. Schneider has been the house piano player for The Nassau Inn, The Hyatt Regency, and The Nassau Club in Princeton; The Riverton Country Club in Cinnaminson, NJ, The Playboy Hotel in Atlantic City, and freelance performances for the Entertainment Group in Philadelphia. Recently retired from teaching high school, Mr. Schneider is the Organist/Choir Director at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Hamilton, NJ, and The Choir Director of the Seasonair’s Choir at Hovnanian’s Four Seasons Retirement Village in Upper Freehold, New Jersey. Rich Schneider is very happy to be returning to Mill Pond Arts and working for Mr. Pete. |
